I love exploring the world around me and I enjoy slow travelling. That’s why often I take my sketchbook with me. In warmer countries sitting in a shaded terrace is a perfect time to slow down and do some sketching. Of course, I don’t only paint on location. I often also take plenty of photographs, so that I can use those as references later. And, believe me, my photo library is quite extended.
